24 Baynard Cove Road is a perfect location for Hilton Head rentals in Sea Pines. This 4 bedroom, 4 bath, single level home is on a quiet street just a 7 minute walk to the beach. The very private backyard has a swimming pool and a free standing hot tub, all surrounded by greenery. There is even a small grassy area where the children can play.
You enter the home through double doors into a welcoming foyer with skylights. Straight ahead is an extremely attractive living room with more skylights, vaulted ceilings and crown molding. The living room has plenty of seating, 65" Roku TV, a work desk and sliding glass doors that open onto the backyard pool area. Just off to the right of the living room is the dining room and kitchen, all with beautiful wood floors. The dining room has a large wood table that seats eight and the updated kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and a center island. It also has an additional eat-in area that seats four. A separate laundry room with full size washer and dryer is located off of the kitchen.
To the left of the entrance are 3 bedrooms. The first has a queen bed, 36" Roku TV and a private bathroom with shower only. Down the hallway, two more bedrooms are located. One bedroom has 2 twin beds, 30" Roku TV, a sliding door to the back yard and a private bath with shower only. At the end of the hall is the large master bedroom with a king bed, 44" Roku TV, sliding doors with access to the backyard and a spacious private bath. This bathroom has a unique curved wall, separate shower, tub and double sinks.
The fourth bedroom is on the right side of the living room, with two access doorways. One is located off of the living room and the other opens onto the kitchen. This bedroom has a queen bed, 24" Roku TV, sliding doors with access to the backyard and a private bath with the standard shower/tub combination.

Summary: Guest bath had no shower curtain so you could not use it . Pool was disgusting and the jacuzzi was cold

Summary: We were down a bathroom the entire time because the toilet clogged into the shower, feces and all…the property manager was quick to send out a handyman. But the handyman couldn’t fix it and we never heard from anyone else. We had to call and find out if it was fixed or not, the property management had no idea, and had to call the handyman to find out…we figured not because nothing was cleaned either…and we were right. We were then told that they would continue to try and contact plumbers, but weren’t having any luck finding anyone who was immediately available. We kept having to call for updates, no one cleaned, no one called to apologize for the trouble…it was a little disheartening.

Summary: This is a great property. You’re about a 8 minute walk to the waterline of the beach. You’re pretty central to sea pines which means you’re about ten minute drive to harbor town, the grocery stores and everything else. So great spot in that regard. We loved the decorations and the kitchen had lots of space for cooking. There was a big table for family meals and board games. The pool in the back is nothing special but a nice option to have. In spring time, the pool was too cold to leverage because it was unheated with no option to heat it. There was a hot tub but we didn’t use it that much. The trip would have been a smashing success but there was broken glass in the master bedroom floor. If you see in the pictures, there is a rope floor so it’s easy to miss that kind of stuff and unfortunately, I stepped on it and had a sliver of glass go into my foot. Not fun on day 1 of your trip…. After some back and forth with management, they decided to send a cleaning crew out to clean up the broken glass, and gave a small comp. Overall, this was a good place to visit. Not jaded by the glass, but if you stay there just make sure the rope floor areas have been thoroughly cleaned.

Summary: Nice layout of this ranch. Master suite is huge and tastefully done. Other 3 bedrooms were large with en-suite bath. Easy walk to beach. Only peeve is that we were there in early November for 4 nights. That means there was a $300 hot tub heating surcharge. Fortunately, the first 2 days were high 70s so we didn’t need a hot tub. They didn’t surcharge for turning on the whole house air conditioning. Again, nice place but I’m not keen on these surcharges.

Summary: Just got back from a family vacation with 8 adults. The house is beautiful and well-maintained. The pool and hot tub in backyard are a great bonus. Family room/dining area and kitchen all large enough to accommodate 8. Each room has it's own bathroom. Location is centrally located in Sea Pines-not far from beach, south beach, harbour town Only cons are the doors to each bedroom are louvre doors so sound travels and the twin bed mattresses need updating and are not comfortable for adults
