Newly tastefully Refurbished cute 2 Bedroom 1 bath Cabin 200 feet across the street from the Lake and only 500 feet from Height Marina Boat rental (Prebook in advance) Includes 2 kayaks & 4 person Paddle boat w/rental (with signed release of liability) and plenty of games. 2 TVs (50 inches) with Roku and Netflix and internet access. Will sleep 4 people. Over 3 days include a complimentary bottle of wine. View of the Lake from your front door. Enough parking for 3 cars. Absolutely no pets or smoking of any kind. Approximately 1 mile to Sav-Alot Grocery Store, and restaurants, and Lake is 200 feet away. Also a block away is miniature golf and go carts. Kayaks and a 4 man Paddle boat Included with rental at no additional charge. (will need to transport the water toys across the street with pull cart only 200 feet) Bedroom #1:Queen size bed with pillow topper and all bedding with 50 inch smart TV . Summary: It had everything we needed and was easy to check in, just my husband and myself stayed, it was very clean and nicely decorated. A few nights were cold and had to use the heater and it kept us plenty warm. We enjoyed our coffee on the front porch every morning and had a beautiful view of the lake. The only thing that would've made it better was the bed, we found it uncomfortable and the 4 inch memory foam topper didn't really help, the sheets slipped off the bed and off the topper so you were sleeping on the plastic covering of the topper, the mattress slid around off the bottem box springs and so the entire night you were fighting the sheets and mattress. Maybe the bed is old and just needs replaced?

Summary: We spent a long weekend at Houghton visiting relatives. The cabin was perfectly comfortable and clean! We had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again!
