Positive: Apartment was in an ideal location. Very comfortable and homely. 5 minutes from the Train Station which was ideal as we were arriving on the Train. The host also provided us with a Welcome Pack which was much appreciated.

Negative: There was nothing we didn’t like.

Summary: Perfect comfortable stay. We would definitely stay there again.

Positive: Very smart, quiet (amazing sound proofing seems to be a common thing in Scottish flats), modern and roomy flat in a fab location to get into Glasgow (20 minutes), across to Edinburgh (1 hour) or up to the Highlands. Handy local supermarket and takeaway (the pasta from the chip and pizza shop was very good) five minutes walk away. Very friendly and helpful host who kindly left us a gift pack of some essentials e.g. milk, bread and of course chocolate :-D).

Negative: Flat was a tiny bit short of small conveniences (e.g. hooks on the back of bathroom doors and bins in the second bathroom). Glad I took a night mask as the blinds were not of the blackout variety and didn't keep the morning light out much (and were missing a wall plug or two so had to be careful with). Also double bed was very firm and low.

Positive: The place is modern and clean, has everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Host was friendly and very helpful, made sure to accommodate us and answer all our queries. The place is very close to the train station too, so allowed for an easy access to Glasgow.

Negative: Our only concern was that the second bathroom didn’t have any shower, so me and my colleague ended up sharing a shower in the master bedroom. Wouldn’t really count it as a problem if you’re traveling with friends or family though.

Summary: Enjoyable stay, would definitely book the place again if I’m ever in the area!
