Summary: We stayed at this cottage for 4 days 2nd-5th Oct. The cottage was beautiful, the location , the service and especially the hosts! The couple was so welcoming and lovely. My husband and I and my 2 boys enjoyed our stay even though the weather wasn’t great! It was an amazing cottage and the garden space was perfect for the boys to run around and play . There was easy access to shops by car and takeaways too. We made use of the kitchen which had everything to offer from kettle , toaster to foil and cling film! We would most definitely be returning in spring /summer time. Could not have booked a better place for our weekend away . :) Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Summary: We very much enjoyed our few days at Woodlands. The property was spotless and equipped to a high standard. We received a warm welcome and the owners were very willing to help and advise on queries about the local area. The gardens are attractive and very peaceful. A lovely place to relax and recharge. Summary: The cottage is in a beautiful setting. Our dogs loved the spacious garden , like a mini park within a forest. Enjoyed the very Lovely plants and flowers too. So appreciated Angela for patiently sharing her knowledge about plants with us. The Cottage is well equipped and we were specially happy with the powerful showers, the airing cupboard, the cool, most comfortable dining room, good WiFi connection. The kitchen /equipment met our needs ie cooked breakfasts and dogs’ dinner. The cottage isn’t great for the hot weather we had whilst there, and although we followed the tips on how to keep the cottage cool, the heat was bad! In retrospect, we should have asked for a couple of fans! Nevertheless, at the end of each day, we enjoyed returning to the relaxing surroundings of Woodlands Cottage . Our thanks to both Angela and Simon for their hospitality. Places we went to : Ross on Wye, Symonds Yat, the Malvern Hills and a few villages in the Cotswolds.
