Gloriously situated at the end of Bala Lake, this delightful holiday property, next door to the owners’ seasonal coffee shop, has a lovely decked area from which to admire the stunning views across Wales’ largest natural lake. Fishing is available on Bala Lake (or Llyn Tegid to give it its Welsh name) and a licence may be purchased locally. Stroll to the end of the lake and catch a narrow gauge steam train on the Bala Lake Railway, along the lake shore to the pretty village of Llanuwchllyn. The market town of Bala is close by and offers several pubs, restaurants and cafes within walking distance, as well as a nearby leisure centre and shopping facilities. Located in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, you can take the mountain road over to Lake Vyrnwy, an experience in itself, or the easy route to the beach at Barmouth, just over 25 miles away.

Summary: Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. The owners could not have done anymore. They made us and our dog feel so welcome from the cream tea and hamper of goodies to recommending places to eat and visit. They always had time for a friendly chat. We sat out every day on the terrace with a coffee enjoying the amazing views of the lake. Short walk to town which had everything we needed and lovely walks around the lake. Summary: Fantastic cottage owners are lovely people and make you very welcome and they have a fantastic cafe next door. The view from cottage balcony is exceptional and sitting out with a cold drink watching the world go by absolutely the best.

Summary: What a beautiful find. Even in October we sat out in the evening on the terrace with a view of the lake at dusk. Warm, welcoming & cosy cottage. Had everything we needed for our break. The welcome we got from Eleri was wonderful & we were amazed at the welcome food pack that made arriving all the more special. Very good quality too. Our dog had a wonderful time & was made as welcome as we were too. The location means that it's a great spot for sightseeing other parts of Wales & was it was a bonus that it was a short walk to the village for shops & lovely pubs. Thank you for letting us stay, we would definitely come back but for longer
