Positive: The view was spectacular. The beds were really comfortable. The decor was really cute. Loved having the pool table, the rocking chairs and porch swing. The location was nice and quiet.

Negative: We were not crazy about the spiral staircases. Really tall men in the family, and 2 of us in our 60s.

Positive: The property was located in a community but had a very private feel. Very pretty views from all levels. Had everything we needed. The furnishings were comfortable as was the bed. Nice shower with great water pressure. Gas fireplaces throughout gave it a cozy feel. Close to Townsend and Cades Cove.

Negative: Granted it was very cold during our trip, but the bottom level was a little cool. The upstairs was rather warm. We stayed on the main level and it was very comfortable.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay and would consider a return trip.

Negative: The beds were a little uncomfortable. The upstairs bedroom needs at least a half bath. The stairs leading down and up to the bedrooms are very pretty but treacherous.

Positive: I loved the comfort of the bed and the tasteful decorating of the cabin. I loved the outside patio areas on 2 levels. The view was incredible, just what I was looking for.

Negative: You need more than 2 cups for a cabin that sleeps 6. The master shower never got hot enough. You may want to know the age of your occupants, because we almost 70 year olds could never have gotten our luggage up or down either spiral staircase. Having the outside larger steps was a better option.

Summary: We would definitely return….very comfortable and a perfect location.

Positive: We loved it! Some basic maintenance is needed such as tightening up drawer knobs. Some wood beans have a lot of damage from insects that need to be repaired. Some of the closet doors need to be fixed. Part of the tile in the main floor bathroom is missing. The outdoor faucet by the hot tub was leaking and would not shut off. It had a constant drip. Caution, two light sleepers the trash man came at 4 AM on Tuesday morning. They came up on the deck, which was slightly startling, but once we realized what it was it was fine. The cabin had everything we needed and we appreciated the basic amenities of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags,, and dish soap. We loved the location. The view is amazing. Very close drive to cades Cove and a lot of hiking trails. Recommend Apple Valley Café for their cheeseburger and Subway for their ice cream. We plan to make this our go to spot for staying in the Smoky Mountains:)
