The old Ronninge is known for the fresh air and calm. Great place to return to after visiting the more intense central part of Stockholm. Private patio, large outdoor table, private heated pool with jetstream. Exercise swimming in the pool thanks to the jetstream. Weber grill that also has a pizza stone. In the evening, you may want to go into your generous 150 sqm on our separate lower floor of our villa. There you can light the wood stove in the living room and start the steam sauna. Enjoy a cozy movie or binge-watch a series on Netflix. You have a private entrance with a door code solution. We live upstairs. The stairs are blocked by a wall and a locked door from the lower floor. You also have a steam sauna, jacuzzi, massage chair. Next to the bedroom is a dressing room. In the living room you have a sofa and a coffee table in front of the wood burning stove and the TV, a large dining table right next to it. Bedroom 1: You have access to 1 x double bed, width 180 cm (extra length, 210 cm) and if you want, 1 x extra bed, 80 cm in the bedroom. Bedroom 2: You have access to 1 x double bed, width 180 cm. Laptop workplace. Dressing room:
An extra bed, width 90 cm, separated by a screen wall.
Part of the living room:
If you need a larger extra bed, we can arrange 1 x air bed, width 152 cm. Length 203 cm. Comfort like a normal bed with a height of 46 cm. Separated by a screen wall.
In addition, there is the option of having a mattress on the sofa in the living room.
You have your own TV too with Netflix which contains tons of TV shows and movies!
1 cot is available if desired.

Summary: We had a brilliant time staying at this lovely property. The 30 minute “pendeltag” (commuter train) journey into Stockholm was really simple - incredibly good service and very economical (£34 p person for a full week’s SL travel - including to/from the airport & city centre ferries). My neice particularly loved the pool and it was lovely to sit outside for breakfast (inside is rather dark, seeing as it’s a basement - but we were out for most of each day, so that didn’t matter). It’s great to have the 2 extra beds outwith the 2 bedrooms - but one was very exposed to disturbance if anyone from either of the bedrooms went past to the loo. Erik & Annette were super hosts. Thank you!

Summary: The bathroom is like a luxury spa in itself with the steam sauna, jetted tub, and seating around the tub including a radio to plug in your music. I brought luggage and the commuter rail walk with luggage was totally fine with a short portion being a hill on a well-paved walkway. I didn't use the heated pool on the main deck, but can say that it and the searing area outside looked great and would be a great spot to enjoy a summer day. The bed I used was very comfortable and I slept like a baby, with a choice of different pillow types. Overall, this place is on my usual places to look for when I come to Stockholm from now on.

Summary: We were fortunately canceled at the last minute through another rental agency, leading us to this vrbo. The host was wonderful and communicated very well before and during our stay. He even picked us up at the train station (very nice after long travel). We were welcomed with chocolate and a bottle of wine. The suite is great. Small kitchen, tv, and two bedrooms. The most wonderful part is the bathroom with double jacuzzi tub, sauna and heated floor. We were able to relax after walking and exploring all day, a welcome feature. You are able to hear the family upstairs but very mildly and it did not interrupt us at all. The bed was very comfy.

Summary: We enjoyed some lovely days away from the big city life at Erik’s place! Him and his family was super friendly and helpful both before and during our stay. The place is really awesome, and it was awesome with the steam bath and hot tub at the place after a swim in the local lake. Would recommend Erik and his place to anyone looking for some cozy and relaxing days - would be happy to visit the place again!

Summary: This property is in a great location, with owners that bend over backwards to make you feel welcome and help you make your stay the best it can be. We stayed for two weeks in August 2019 and enjoyed the pool/sauna/spa pool/massage chair and rainfall shower. The property is close to the train station and local shops and is about 1/2 hour into central Stockholm. A great base for a city break! Thank you Annette and Erik!

Summary: Erik and Anita were wonderful hosts. I appreciated the ride from/to the train to the house. The house is a spacious 2-bedroom, 1 bath apartment with a kitchen, dining room, and family room. Also, alcoves for 2 more beds. The steam sauna, jetted tub, and massage chair were a spa-experience! Robes and slippers were provided. It's a short-commute from Stockholm on the commuter-rail (approximately $4 each way). Just get off at the Ronninge station and walk 5-minutes. The washing machine and dryer were helpful. This was a wonderful home base to explore Stockholm.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay in the apartment very much. We were there with our two children and we all had a very nice time. The sauna and whirlpool are nice to enjoy the evenings and we missed nothing over the day. Erik and Anne were very hospitable and helped us with everything. We also could use their garden, playground, and sleights without any problem. We would definitely come back to see how it is in summertime;)
