Welcome to Wagon Wheel. Our 5 bedroom 4 full bath home is ideal for family gatherings, weddings on the property, church youth groups or friends who want to escape to the country life. Our home is less than 1 mile from the Tennessee River/ Chickamauga Lake and 30 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. Our area of the country is known for mild weather and lots of outdoor activities. Our pool and flagstone patio are a great place to relax and we also have a covered complete outdoor kitchen with enough covered seating for a large 50+ person reception. We have leveled a grassy 7,500 square foot area behind the toolbarn that can accomadate a large tent or can be used for outdoor games and other activities. Summary: We had the absolute most wonderful stay in Harrison! Our hosts were extremely accommodating and generous with their personal home! Everything was spotless, beautiful, and the definition of relaxation. A perfect weekend spot for a large family!! Would highly recommend!!

Summary: We were in town for my daughters softball tournament and my sister’s family joined us after returning to the States from overseas deployment. Great venue to reconnect and enjoy each other’s company. Owners were outstanding with communication and made us feel at home. So much on site to do, swimming, darts, grilling, corn hole, badminton and beautiful scenery to take in. The home is relaxing and comfortable. We will definitely book again when we are back in Chattanooga!! Close to downtown (30 min) and other activities. The Shipleys were so accommodating and quick to respond. We greatly appreciate them opening up their home to us to create our special memories.

Summary: The Shipley’s home was perfect for the type of event we wanted for our wedding. We hosted a brunch for about 40 people and then a reception/party with around 70 in attendance. We had games and activities for kids and adults, and live music as well. We hope this is our first/last wedding, but we would happily have a day like that again!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We hosted a rehearsal and dinner one evening and everything was perfect for our event. The property is excellent in the area for large families or small groups. The property owners were very accommodating and responsive in communication.

Summary: The landscaping is absoutely beautiful. There are many places to gather for meals or Smores. Our grandchildren spent most of their time in the pool. We picked blackberries and there are other fruits not yet ripe. We had a great time and David was very responsive.
