Positive: I loved the location, how close it was to the pool, all the deer and wildlife, the size, and the comfortable bed. I absolutely loved the value.

Negative: Missing vertical blinds; thankfully, we are not paranoid, but those should be fixed or replaced entirely with regular coverings of some sort. Not enough toilet paper for our stay. I had to go out and buy some, no big deal, but?

Positive: The condo was cute and well-equipped. We definitely knew we were in Texas when we saw the decor. It was fun to see a dozen or so deer gather each evening just outside to sleep under the trees. The furniture was comfortable throughout and there was nice space to sit outside on the patio.

Negative: Some of the dishes in the kitchen weren't thoroughly cleaned but were put back in the cabinet. Also, the day we arrived we started hearing a beeping sound from one of the locked rooms that sounded like a smoke alarm with a dying battery. When we called the management company they had the supervisor call us, but she wasn't able to come out until the next day. We were concerned that the alarm would start going off at full blast in the middle of the night. Fortunately, after a couple of hours, it stopped altogether. The supervisor did help us get the issue resolved. We realized later that it was the clothes dryer in the locked room. I suspect that the cleaning people put bedding in before they left, but never told us that the beeping would be going off. It would be helpful to either turn off the beep or let new guests know that it may happen for a couple of hours that first day.

Summary: Comfortable lodging for our Hill Country visit.

Positive: Great location for accessing the lake, river, and whitewater amphitheater. Very close to the pool. Lots of shade from live oaks. Lots of deer.

Negative: Not very close to restaurants.
