Positive: Nestled in the breathtaking countryside of northwest Tunisia, this charming hotel is an enchanting retreat, offering sweeping mountain and garden views that are simply beautiful. The warm welcome we received from the staff made us feel instantly at home. Every member of the team was incredibly attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about ensuring we had the best experience possible. Our room was comfortable, beautifully maintained, and had a great bed. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. Breakfast was abundant and showcased authentic Tunisian flavours. The food was organic and came straight from the garden. The honey, in particular, was unreal! We soaked in the quiet charm of this unique setting and wished we could have stayed longer. We were each presented with a bouquet of rosemary from the garden as we left, a delightful keepsake. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already dreaming of our return.

Positive: This is an absolutely magical lodging. The location is way out in nature and off the beaten path but provides all the comforts one could desire. The proprietor is super helpful and happy to discuss life in Tunisia. The breakfast was fantastic and the female cook was incredibly generous, giving me jasmine flowers and my husband a tasty traditional treat for the road. Highly recommended!

Positive: This is a jewel of a place in a beautiful location; perfect if you want peace and tranquillity. The staff are superb and are always available for anything you need. Hachem The Boss and Mondher the Hotel Manager are delightful people who genuinely care that you are having the best time possible. This lovely boutique hotel is not to be missed if you enjoy excellent service, fantastic food, beautiful surroundings and an authentic Tunisian experience. I hope to return here next year with friends. Thank you to all who made my stay so memorable and fun.

Negative: I would love it if they had a bedroom you could share with your dog. This place was certainly dog friendly but to avoid pet allergies, no dogs in bedrooms. Just one room... please?

Positive: This was a unique experience, staying at a traditional rural inn in Tunisia. The property and setting are beautiful, the staff is very attentive, and the food is excellent.

Negative: The unnamed road that you drive in on is very rough and the internet is quite slow.

Positive: Absolutely stunning location, with 360 degree view on the countryside. We had both dinner and breakfast here - both were excellent with local products. Very friendly hosts. The hotel has many cosy corners for relaxing and taking in the views.

Negative: The shower curtain should have been 10cm longer 😊

Positive: All the meals were truly special, delicious home cooked food. The breakfast was served outside, on a beautiful patio overlooking nature and fragrant with rosemary bushes all around. Also, every meal came in beautiful Tunisian dishes! The dinners were also amazing, just all very fresh and very tasty! As I am writing this, I want to go back for more! We watched the sun set from the roof terrace, and later lay on the couches on the roof terrace to watch the stars. We also enjoyed conversations with the owners. They were very kind and hospitable. We stayed two nights, and visited the archaeological sites of Dougga and Bulla Regia and Chemtou.

Summary: Amazing, special treat to stay here.
