Positive: Great location in the open countryside. Whilst a little way from the main road the roads to the cottage are very open and easy to navigate. The cottage was very clean and we really enjoyed our stay

Positive: The cottage was a wonderful base for exploring the area. It was very clean and comfortable with a lovely garden to sit out in. The location was remote in the sense that it was not walkable to a village or pub, but perfect for peace and quiet, set about a mile from the main road down farmers tracks (proper road surface though, not a mud track). Being surrounded by the fields and farm animals was a wonderful retreat from daily life. All the main attractions for the area are within a pleasant drive through very unspoilt countryside with shops for provisions within easy reach. We had a great stay.

Negative: There was nothing about the property or location we could criticise.

Positive: Rural location which was fabulously peaceful. We weren’t disturbed by anyone or anything! The garden was lovely and spacious with wonderful views. The log fire made eves in cosy & warm. The kitchen was well equipped and included a generous welcome supply.

Negative: Bathroom was small & shower quite cramped.

Summary: We loved it- perfect to meet our needs.

Positive: Gorgeous little cottage set in the rolling countryside. Huge, enclosed garden which put dog LOVED. Cosy fire in the lounge with logs provided and very generous welcome package of goodies from the host. We had everything we needed (and then some!)

Negative: Absolutely can’t be helped if you want any doors or windows open when in the countryside but had a few run ins with some sizeable moths!
