Summary: Fantastic vibe in the hotel, full of plants, terrific staff, great room and location. Only big negative is the al-a-carte breakfast- would choose a hotel with a buffet in future.

Summary: Very sustainable hotel with fine details to recycling and use of recyclable material. Breakfast is awesome at the restaurant. Prices are on higher side but worth the experience.

Summary: I was assigned an accessible room, and unfortunately I was not comfortable with the bathroom/toilet layout. When I raised this with reception, I was informed that no standard rooms were available unless I paid for an upgrade, and the price offered was unreasonable. As a frequent traveler, I have never encountered such a situation before. I’m quite disappointed with the way this was handled and would appreciate a fair resolution.

Summary: We loved everything about 1 Hotel Melbourne. Our room (king river deluxe) was spacious, comfortable, quiet, and beautifully decorated. The bed was one of the best we've ever slept on, and we travel a lot. Terrific restaurant. The DJ music was a little loud on the evening we dined at the hotel, but they immediately said they would turn it down. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Great relaxed atmosphere. Lots of other places to dine in the Docklands area, and a short ride or 20-30 minute walk to other areas of Melbourne. We hope to return and look forward to staying at their other properties.

Summary: Absolutely exquisite hotel. The staff were wonderful, the room was gorgeous, the whole vibe is relaxing, chic, and expensive without being snobby. Cannot fault it.
