Settle is a bustling market town on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and has a large selection of individual shops, pubs and restaurants, together with a railway covering the famous Settle-Carlisle line, passing over the majestic Ribblehead Viaduct. Giggleswick is an ideal location for walking, touring or cycling in the surrounding dramatic scenery. Summary: Very nice cottage, lovely welcome. Perhaps the steep stairs would put less able people off!

Summary: We loved everything about this cottage. It was in excellent condition, done out to a high spec and v comfortable. Whilst it is ‘cosy’ it is possibly the only time that we’ve stayed somewhere that the actual space is bigger than the photos suggest! The outside area was private and got the sun all day. The surrounding area is great for walking and Settle is a good base and less than 10 mins walk away. Very friendly hosts who were v happy to offer advice on options locally.
