In a peaceful rural setting this cosy cottage is part of a farmyard conversion with the owner’s home on one side. Superb walks with opportunities to see deer and red kites. Only 2 miles from historic Dunblane with shops, restaurants and cathedral. Stirling, with the imposing castle and Wallace Monument is only 4 miles. Blair Drummond Safari Park is close by, while the stunning hills and glens of Loch Lomond National Park make for a memorable day out. fantastic holiday retreat. Shops and pubs 3 miles (1 mile on foot).

Summary: Juniper cottage is the most well equipped stay we’ve had. The cottage had everything you could need for your stay, and was so cosy and relaxing. Great for local walks especially if you have a dog, can walk into Dunblane within 25mins and Dumyat only 15min drive away. Summary: Lovely cottage , Just off the beaten track. There is a long drive down to cottage of which is uneven track ( caution when driving down ) the owners were lovely , extremely helpful , with any problems, or directions to places we wanted to go to . Summary: A really lovely holiday cottage, perfect just for two. Warm and comfortable, very clean and simply but adequately equipped. But also our grandchildren (boys of 2 and 5) adored visiting us there. The owners couldn't do more to make us welcome and let the boys look for chicken eggs, having given us some when we arrived. Lots of children's activities, books etc. On a lovely quiet lane (perfect for one grandson to ride his bike) which is a cycle lane. Stunning views of the Trossacks from the garden and upstairs bedroom. We would more than recommend it - though go carefully down very unmade road from the main road! Summary: Beautifully appointed cottage. Good location - walking distance into Dunblane yet in the countryside with lovely safe dog walks straight from the cottage. Family live in adjoining house which could be difficult, but they were so welcoming and friendly it felt like we lived there. Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Juniper Cottage very much. The owner was friendly and if any problem had arisen, which it didn't, I am sure he would have been very helpful. The accommodation was fine for two people but for a third the sofa bed was not as comfortable. The tartan carpet must have looked magnificent when new but is now showing signs of wear. A towel rail in the bathroom would have been helpful and a cafetier in the kitchen. The owner allowed us to use his extensive garden and much enjoyment was had sitting in the warm sunshine which we were lucky enough to experience! Summary: Very welcoming and friendly owners,lovely accomodation but could do with cosmetic updating. Bathroom tiling esp around bath in need of regrouting, plug in sink needs to be prised out with a flat blade as doesn`t allways "pop up". General repaint throughout would smarten place up a bit and cover up scuff marks and wear and tear marks. No hoover or brush available to clean floors and towels not changed at all during the weeks stay (never had to use same towels for a week any where else at home or abroad before). As other reviewers have said track down to property is VERY rough and ready so watch your suspension and tyres!! Overall a relaxing holiday in a secluded location but a bit more attention to above points would mean a higher review score
