Positive: The cabin is in a great location with beautiful views. The bed was super comfy and clean.

Negative: The images make the place look significantly larger than it is. It is more a glamping pod/shepherds hut. There are limited facilities for cooking. There is no oven or alternative provided such as an air fryer/halogen oven. There is a microwave kettle and toaster however all the plates provided are not microwave friendly therefore we could not heat a lot up in the microwave. There is a bbq which we did make use of however I think given the cost of the stay for two nights and the fact there are no real cooking facilities provided I do think including bbq materials such as coals/wood etc would be much better. We sadly wasted a lot of food on this trip due to not being able to cook it and had to go into Hawick and spend more on meals and buy everything for a barbecue which was disappointing. The hot tub area was lovely with great views however the hot tub jets did not work properly and the hot tub itself was Luke warm for the duration of our stay, again this was disappointing given the high cost. We paid almost £600 for two nights which is considerably more than most places in the area and i think if you are charging luxury high end costs the facilities need to reflect that and sadly it did not.

Summary: Great location, beautiful views but cost is far too much due to lack of cooking facilities and size

Positive: Location was excellent for star gazing and very private. The hot tube was perfect even during heavy rain and wind.
