Positive: It's a beautiful place in the countryside. As I stayed alone for 2 days there, I felt like home and comfortable. This place was very convenient as a Ohenro with many temples around. You have all the amenities you might need and the place is also very clean and quiet. The afternoon you might encounter the kiwi farmer living near by, working in the kitchen. I really enjoyed it, she was super nice !

Negative: It's a self check-in system so you might not see anybody (not really the kind of thing I appreciate generally) but the owner answers really quick to the message on Booking so not a big deal. It's a bit far from shops and supermarket if you are on foot as I did but there are some bicycles available.

Positive: Stayed in the bunks and the beds were very comfortable. The other guests were considerate. The best was the fresh brewed coffee in the morning.

Negative: A bit far from any restaurants, but they had bike to borrow which was convenient.

Positive: The house is really nice and Japanese! Feels like visit relatives in the countryside. Kitchen is spacey and fully equipped. Great for cooking.

Negative: Was a bit too cold for winter 😹 And there was a power tripped … twice 😹 The owner was nice and came to fix it but still took a while.

Positive: The neighborhood was beautiful and the host was nice, but we did not meet in person. The shower water pressure was amazing and they had inexpensive toiletries. The room was cold when we got there, but warmed up very quickly!

Negative: There is only one set of bathrooms and showers. I was only there with a couple of other people, so it didn't really affect my stay except for when more than one person needed the toilet, but with a full house would be really hard. It would also be loud with a lot of people there.

Positive: It was a big Japanese traditional house. We weren't numerous travelers, but it was great to have the house for us. The kitchen were well equipped and the futon comfortable. Closed to rice field, so it was quiet. All is self chek-in. We saw nobody except some farmers working around...a lot of space, making easier to park a car

Negative: The room was smelling old house that wasn't enough ventilated but after a night, we forgot about it !
