Positive: I love this place! The room was very nice with a very comfortable bed and fluffy duvet. Every detail was so tasteful. Even in winter the cute garden was beautiful. Mia and her parents (and even the dog and cat) were super friendly. They helped me with everything. I am already homesick for that place and the family.

Positive: The days in this homestay place of Mia's family was the highlight of our vacation in China. It was even one of the most wonderful vacations experiences I have ever had in my life. The family is so warmhearted and helpful. Mia’s father picked us up from the airport and drove us home to the little village SanBaoCun. Later that day, Mia took us around the village and showed us around: We went to the top of a mountain enjoying a great view and saw local people gathering fresh water for the perfect tea. Mia also gave us recommendations for the best restaurants in the area. There are plenty of great places to eat nearby. We also made a wonderful day-trip together with another guest, visiting ancient towns, tea plantations and old government buildings of the Tang Dynasty - everything organized by Mia. Each night when going to sleep I was already looking forward to the breakfast the next morning: We would get specialty coffee served as espresso or cappuccino along with a lovingly decorated breakfast table with local food. Fantastic. We could even book a tea ceremony with Mia who introduced my wife, daughter and me to the secrets of the local tea leaves and customs. If that wasn't enough Mia also helped us finding the best places for pottery and museums according to our wishes. We spent two full days doing self-made pottery and glassblowing artwork... I am so than thankful for this experience. I could have stayed much longer and highly recommend this outstanding homestay place.

Positive: We had an amazing experience staying here, 4 days was not nearly long enough! The homestay is conveniently located in the middle of Sanbao, yet tucked away in a quiet alley near the forests away from the hustle of the main street. The house itself is very tastefully decorated and filled with local art. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Patio room, and loved that it looked out directly into their beautifully maintained garden. There was truly nothing more we could ask for - clean and comfortable bed, heated toilet, plenty of tea and snacks - the list goes on. What really stands out is the thoughtfulness and hospitality that Mia and her family show to all guests - they are fantastic hosts and they spared no effort to ensure that all our needs were met. Breakfast and coffee are prepared daily by Mia and her mother, and the food features local specialties and fresh produce. Mia has a wealth of knowledge on the history of Jingdezhen and gave great recommendations, she also went out of her way to show us around Sanbao. If you are thinking of coming to Jingdezhen, definitely recommend staying here! P.S. they have a big cuddly golden retriever and an adorable cat - animal lovers rejoice.

Positive: Honestly one of the best stays of our lives. We visited with two friends, without any expectations, and came to find a hidden gem: a paradise garden full of trees, a clean and welcoming environment, beautiful & well functioning rooms & utilities. A place of good taste and tranquility. The best part about this place is the family that runs it. Their priority is your comfort and all of them individually went out of their way to help us, accommodate us and show us the best things this area has to offer. The breakfast, freshly and daily cooked by the mother of the house, is well curated, balanced and tasty. We are eternally grateful to Mia, our superhost, for making us feel like home in a far away land. Do not hesitate for a moment to book this place.

Positive: Initially we had no idea about the location or the geography of JDZ, and I got a little nervous looking at the GPS as we cabbed our way into the mountains, but we realised we had really struck gold upon arrival! Perfect location, for us, right in the heart of 三寶村, we felt very blessed in this beautiful homestay and Mia has great taste! We were both obsessed with the wooden pillar in our room, we loved that they had preserved the old elements of the building while transforming it into a contemporary space. The bathroom was clean and of good taste too. The breakfast was beautifully presented and very cute but most importantly, delicious, we enjoyed listening to the cicadas while eating in solace. Walking through the garden felt very nourishing, everything was so thoughtfully placed. My boyfriend loved the piano in the common area and the hand pan in tea room in the garden, everything was so considerately set up, it was a pleasure for our hearts and souls. Conveniently there's a spot to rent electric bikes right opposite their place and it was fun and so liberating to be able to explore the nearby areas at our own pace. Electric bike bosses were accommodating and it was reasonably priced. All the locals were very kind and helpful. Mia gave us soooo many great suggestions and recommendations, with directions! 4 days didn't feel like enough time to see it all and we will definitely be back as soon as we can!!! Thank you so much!!!

Negative: It's not really a complaint but bear in mind there is a beautiful stunning gorgeous big dog and a very beautiful furry cat in residence so if you have any allergies it's easy to avoid but also irresistible to pet!!! Be warned!!!
