Positive: we stayed in the large family room right by the stream. It was such a dream! just open the door and the little river just by your room and you can listen to the water running all night also the mountain on the right. the room is quite damp from the moisture in the air so more rug on the floor would be great and this place in not in the middle of the village, it's a bit of nice walk down to the village! the breakfast is simple but enough for us. we would go back!

Negative: the floor in the room was damp all the time, need shelf in the bathroom and outside by the sink.

Positive: Lovely Homestay. Beautiful view of Mae Kampong from the balcony. Easy walk to the tourist street. Enjoyed bbq with nice cool weather. Room and bathroom super clean. Bed comfortable. Best of all is the generous buffet breakfast with Americano machine. Plenty of fruits and salad. Highly recommended.

Positive: Great value for money! The room is located in a beautiful Balinese homestay courtyard with a tranquil koi pond just outside. Located just 5-7 min drive/30min walk from Ubud center, we loved the peaceful, rural feel to the road we were located on. Our host was so friendly and responsive; making us feel right at home as soon as we met her. She was particularly helpful in arranging for us to arrive outside the usual check-in hours, which we were very grateful for! Directly next to Mandala Blu, is an amazing cafe/restaurant "Akamana Grill", which was so convenient especially during rainy season.

Negative: A small thing to note is that the window blinds are slightly misaligned and thus don't provide total coverage, which can mean that you can feel a bit exposed particularly in the evenings with the light on.

Positive: I loved this homestay - it was nicely designed and beautifully located - we could listen to the river whilst sitting on the balcony or lying in our beds. Good bathroom with hot water. The owners were really nice.

Negative: Careful if you are clumsy like me - I fell down the stairs (it's a loft rather than a room)
