Positive: 1 recently stayed here with my partner and daughter, and we had a truly lovely experience. Despite our late arrival--after 1 a.m.-the owner was there to greet us warmly. He had thoughtfully prepared a cot for our daughter, and he and his wife even added a special touch by placing fresh flowers from their garden and leaving treats for us in the fridge! Although the owner didn't speak much English, we were able to communicate well in German, which was very helpful. They were such a kind couple, and the two-bedroom apartment had a charming, old-fashioned style with free parking! While the apartment isn't wheelchair accessible due to stairs, we managed fine carrying our things up. Since we traveled by car, the location worked out perfectly, just a short 30-minute drive from the monasteries. Visiting the monasteries was an unforgettable experience they have breathtaking views reminiscent of the air temples from Avatar: The Last Airbender! Just a heads-up: there are a lot of stairs, so it's not the easiest outing with a baby, but I'd do it all over again for those views. Absolutely worth it!

Positive: Very friendly hosts, a location overlooking the valley and mountains. The host facilitated dinner at a local taverna in the village, most authentic experience! Rooms were spacious and clean, the kitchen had everything you needed. About 20 min drive to meteora. We were able to buy excellent honey from the village.

Negative: The mattress in the main bedroom could be changed, not very comfortable.

Positive: We where looking for a simple accomodation close to Meteora but we found a real greek story, a bit of reality of this country. Meeting members of "vlah" comunity was realy touching for us because we manage to comunicate with them in romanian and vlah languages , this beeing a prove that vlahs are an ancient branch of romanian people who came in this places centuries ago .
