Positive: We had a lovely stay at Rita's place. She's a super nice and warm host and we had a great time with her on the outside terrace enjoying the beautiful sunset in the mountains and later the stars with wines and snacks. Also the house and the garden are beautiful and the bed is really comfy. We would definitely stay here again!

Positive: The property is in the mountains where we were located. It was also a clean location.

Negative: We were not aware that they had dogs on the property. And that they ran freely about the place. Also did not know that we’d have to carry our luggage up so many flights of stairs.

Positive: This beautiful, recently renovated hillside house with amazing views is hosted by Rita, who is friendly, welcoming and goes out of her way to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. It is definitely worth having her amazing breakfast! Conveniently just off the main road between Caldas and Monchique, but quiet and idyllic location. Very peaceful. Highly recommended.

Positive: Rita and Bruno are incredible hosts ! You quickly feel at home and like a member of the family. They are always ready to be of service while leaving plenty of space 🏡 The house is spacious and very well equipped, and the rooms are pleasant and clean ! Big crish for the view from the terrace, but also the peaceful garden and swimming pool. Special mention for Oscar and Olivia, the two French bulldogs so adorable 🐶

Positive: After a few weeks of trekking along the coast and staying in hostels, I was looking for a little hideout in the mountains. So I booked a doubleroom with shared bathroom which is just to be shared with one other person. The House is spacious, cosy and it truly feels like a home. If you love cooking, there is a perfectly equipped kitchen. The fews from the terrace above the green valleys with the glimmering Atlantic at the far horizon are so beautiful and calming. Once a week there is a yoga lesson which you can join if you like. Or just enroll your mat and enjoy yoga or workout with the wonderful few. Rita is sooo nice, I just felt like knowing her forever :) I love this place!!!

Positive: Ōku : My best Booking experience ! First of all, the place is gorgeous. Even more than in the pictures. The house is arrounding by nature, and i saw the best sunsets. The entrance is steep, but if you don't succeed to climb the ramp, there is a place where you can park your car before the property (what I did, so it's absolutly not a problem). The room I had was so huge and so cosy, with a view of nature and quiet, really relaxing. The kitchen is amazing, I had everything i needed to cook. Ōku is also a human experience, because Rita hosts people from all over the world. So it's the perfect place to meet really nice people. Rita is so kind, welcoming and caring. She did everything she could to make my stay perfect. I felt like at home. She has 2 adorable dogs Olivia and Oscar, who have so much love to give. In short, it was a wonderfull stay. My only regrets are not going for a swim in the pool and not staying longer. But I will come back ☺️.
