Positive: We chose this place to stay as an alternative to staying in Wellington. It is about 25 minutes drive to the port from there. It is a very modern apartment with views across the sandy bay below. It was very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss. Not at all bad in content but we had to go out and buy more milk and marmalade, both of which were however useful for our next stop elsewhere. We could not get the, very new-looking, aircon to generate any heat but the host brought in a tenant of hers over the Easter weekend to try and fix it. It was not fixable at that time as a component had failed. Top marks though for customer service in trying to solve the problem! This is a lovely place to stay and peaceful compared to the city but there are not many places to eat around the area. We found one decent restaurant in nearby Poreira but drove into Wellington the next night and had a great meal at the Yacht Club which is open to the public.
Negative: Nothing to dislike here.
Summary: Peaceful alternative to staying in Wellington in a nice beachside location.

Positive: Beautiful stay even though the weather was horrendous, Thank you for having me
Negative: I didn't realize the owner of the bnb was staying above the accommodation. Upstairs. She was very lovely though I was just super mindful to not make too much noise after hours. I'm sure it would've been ok regardless.
Summary: Enjoyable stay. Nice place to return to after being on the tools all day.

Positive: The host was an absolute gem to deal with and made me feel so welcome. The room was extremely well appointed and I have never slept in such a comfortable Air BnB before, with a veiw of the ocean to warm the soul. I can't wait for my next trip to New Zealand, so I can stay again.

Positive: Best highlight of the stay is the seaview, and close to beach. And if you are a cat lover you are in luck, you will get a cute visitor (their housecat😻) in the morning to say hello to you. Very adorable and friendly cat.. I believe her name is dora, have added one pic to the collection 😊

Positive: Raewynne was a lovely host who was made sure our stay was exactly what we wanted. The room was extremely clean and provided everything we needed. Breakfast supplies were ample. The location suited our needs as we wanted to stay out of the city and near family and friends in Plimmerton and Kapiti Coast area.
