Positive: Location. Quiet. Hot tub. Lodge

Negative: For £210pn I expected a better quality of toilet roll. Cheap, thin, virtually useless for it's intended use. A cafetier would have been useful

Positive: Self catering, hot tub , quite area , a lodge set in a beautiful woodland , the sound of wild life , the option to go fishing , ideal location to walk to the nearby village of Woodall Spa , great idea for outside catering , what more would you want. My family and I found Woodhall Country Park , excellent and hopefully we will be back later in the year .

Negative: Nothing , maybe if I am being picky, slight up date all round , I think the area between the living room and the bedrooms , there needs to have a coat hanger area fitted , would have made all the difference .

Summary: The lodge , excellent, in a beautiful woodland , views of lakes and wild life , we will be back

Positive: The lodges are set in a lovely location in amongst trees and lakes with birds and wildlife all around - it’s so tranquil and relaxing. We enjoyed having a spa every day which was a real treat. The bath towels provided were luxurious and soft but you need to bring your own robe and slippers or flip flops. Overall the facilities provided are good. The kitchen provided adequate crockery and cooking utensils. The information does not state there is a fridge freezer in the properties which was extremely useful during our stay. There is also a microwave. If you want to sit comfortably out on the veranda bring some garden chairs - a picnic table is provided.

Negative: As we are older we did not find the settees to be supportive enough for us - comfy armchairs would have been better. The beds - the two in the second bedroom were very very soft and our double bed was rock hard (we like a firm bed but there was no give in this bed at all) In my opinion all of them should have been to the same standard ie firm but comfortable.

Summary: A lovely break in tranquil surroundings with lots of wildlife.

Negative: My only issue was the mattress was uncomfortable and lumpy. That was it.

Positive: We enjoyed the location, as it allowed the kids to play freely without any worry

Negative: We had found a bed bug which made us feel uncomfortable. Also there were webs in corners and insects. I under the insects being there but the webs areas seemed like they have not been cleaned.

Positive: The staff was really friendly, nothing was ever too much bother, it's a beautiful location and it's very well maintained. The lodge was clean and soo cozy, hot tub absolutely exceptional and was checked regularly :)
