Summary: Awesome location along the river and a block from restaurants and downtown core. Howling coyotes and the elk in the yard was a nice touch. House is beautifully furnished and is spacious. Great for a big group or family.

Summary: Perfect house for four couples. We loved the large, well stocked kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Kerry met us at check in to show us around the property. She even provided a large welcome basket with snacks, wine, and coffee. Location of property was great. We were able to walk into town as well as enjoy the view of the river and visiting elk. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Summary: House was amazing and fully stocked! Including baby, toddler items; for example small plastic cups, spoons etc. Kerry met us at the house for check-in and walked us around, answered any questions I had and helped me figure out the bus routes etc.

Summary: The owner is nice and welcoming. The house is in a great location. It is an easy walk to everything in town. And it is across the street from a paved trail that sees a lot of use by walkers, joggers, and bikes. The house was perfect for my family which is a mix of young married adults, grand parents, and one grandchild. It was a little odd that the owner lived in the basement and stayed onsite during our rental of the property. I don’t recall reading that in the property details at the time I booked the place. It ended up not posing any issues for us but was a bit of a surprise. The house actually has five bedrooms, but the owner only rents it as a four bedroom and asked that we not use the fifth bedroom. The house is showing some wear and tear but everything worked. The floors and carpets could have been cleaner, especially because my two year old grand daughter plays on them. We enjoyed the deck, grill, and backyard fire pit. We enjoyed how close we were to nature even though we were so close to town. Elk grazed in the front yard and bedded down in the neighbors yard, which we could view from the windows of the house and from the deck. We heard coyotes calling at night. We could not see them but they sounded very close. There are many warnings about bears around town. We did not see any but precautions included depositing garbage in bear safe trash cans down the street. There’s no outside trash cans at this house or neighboring houses. Overall, we had a great stay here.

Summary: Right on the river and 1/2 block from downtown Banff and a grocery store, the location is incredible. The house was plenty spacious for the 10 of us. We had wonderful meals at the dining table, the kitchen was large enough for all of us to hang out together, the beds were comfortable except for the couch/hide-a-bed. The heated floor in the downstairs bathroom was especially nice.It was a little bit of a shocker to discover that Kerry lived in the basement. That should have been disclosed. She is very nice and it was not a problem, just unexpected. It was odd to not get an empty freezer. We also left the house cleaner than we received it.The gas stove is large and works great, but the oven isn't that great. It has a hot spot in the back and difficult to dial the temp in, but after we discovered that and rotated the food more that normal, we made it work.We were there to make memories with the family and succeeded 100%. It was a great time.

Summary: Bring your earplugs and a warm coat! The home looks welcoming, situated by the Bow Valley river, but had some negatives that were hard to ignore. The blinds on the single paned windows in the bedrooms don’t work, so the street light shines in, and the train coming through at 3am feels like it’s taking its journey through your room. The owner was there to greet us on the first day, which was nice, but when we needed her help during the week was unavailable and didn’t respond to requests for days. The fridge was already partially filled with food left from previous guests, which left little room for our groceries. The gas stove and oven were a challenge to operate, and the outdoor BBQ had not been cleaned. We always knew when the owner was out, as she lived in the basement with her dog, who would yap constantly while she was away.
