It is situated in West Meadows away from all the tourists in a quiet location. Take the shuttle to the slopes and enjoy the day on the mountain with your family and friends. Ski back and have an exquisite dinner prepared in the gourmet kitchen equipped with just about everything. This home overlooks a private stream and backs to forest land for the kids to play.
About Your Accommodations
This 3 bdrm 4 bath home comes furnished with exquisite antique furnishings. In the last decade, all aspects of this home were redesigned and rebuilt to provide the most comfort to enjoy. Large windows give way to mountain-scapes and forest surroundings that one may enjoy while sitting next to the wood stove. Gleaming hardwood floors are paired with custom oak cabinetry and craftsman inspired details throughout. The main floor has a large primary bedroom and bath. Also on the main floor you will find a sauna, guest bath, and den that has can be converted into a 4th bedroom (den) by sliding a set of custom glass Shoji screens for privacy. The lower quarters of the home feature 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a second living space game room that is equipped with a bar kitchen and a mission style pool table. Each level of the home has an outdoor patio that is oriented in opposite directions so as to take full advantage of the sun.

Summary: We stayed here during our wedding weekend with a couple close friends. The house accommodated the 8 of us very comfortably and there was a lot of space to hangout, play pool, and watch TV. This was also the house I used to get ready along with my bridesmaids and it was a beautiful setting for our big day! The kitchen is awesome and we had a blast cooking and eating in it. Please note that the address listed on VRBO is incorrect, Pyramid Properties will provide you with the correct address.

Summary: We loved this place; we have rented in the past with the former owner and continue to enjoy this home. This house is very lovely and perfect for family. The rooms are spacious, with a nice fireplace upstairs which will keep the entire house very warm. The kitchen is well stocked. Though it would be useful for the guests if the house has some supplies like foil, saran wrap and just sugar. Otherwise, it is a great place to be at and Kirkwood is so nice and much less crowded for winter skiing season. We will be back.

Summary: This two story house was lovely -- a floor for the kids (pool table, tv and couch area, two bedrooms with desks) and a floor for the adults (with sauna, sweeping views, well-stocked kitchen). The address on VRBO was incorrect so we had some hiccups with check-in, but overall we loved this house and would happily stay there again. The 2 car garage was large and tidy, there were sleds for the kids, and most items needed for cooking (except no measuring cups for baking). The decor was a bit dated but it all felt loved and homey. The sauna was fantastic. I'd love to return in the spring to enjoy the creek and the forest. We will be back.
