Positive: Such a spectacular, natural setting, so peaceful with the sounds of the river, birds and nature. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and the bungalow we stayed in had all the comforts of a high quality hotel. We enjoyed our private outdoor patio overlooking the river, such a special place to relax. The dinner we ordered was delicious and far exceeded our expectations. Staying at Treehouse de Valentine was an experience we will always treasure and our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer.

Summary: A wonderful experience to be treasured for a lifetime.

Positive: Beautiful experience. The running water was lovely and being outdoors but also having an indoor space where you had a wonderful view of outside was great. It was a very unique experience and I would recommend it. Also the food was delicious, some of the best we’ve had in the Philippines so far, and great value for money.

Negative: The drive there was quite dangerous and scary, not sure it was worth the 2hour to and from trip. Also the host says they are there whenever you need them, but simple questions and requests would take an hour or so to get a response. So not very good communication.

Positive: Incredible tree houses and location in the rain forest with the river. Very friendly and helpful staff, even meeting us with umbrellas at the car as we turned up in the middle of a tropical downpour.

Positive: Amazing place in the middle of nowhere - it's a perfect getaway, with beautiful surroundings, and a great combination of both treehouse vibe and luxury. The food and the staff were fantastic. Would definitely stay again.

Negative: The cottages are not perfectly isolated, meaning that some of the air conditioning cooling is lost. It is also a fairly loud place due to the river just outside - perhaps we were unlucky with the strong current, and we are aware that this is one of the trade-offs when staying in such a wild place. Also, some kind of a storage for luggage would be useful, cause it is difficult to contain everything in an organised way.
