Positive: Very thoughtfully equipped. There wasn’t hint of scrimping on the essentials at the cost of visitor comfort. Lots of coffee, tea, cupboard essentials in the kitchen. The ‘copper’ bath was a lovely treat as it is nice and deep, lovely for a luxury soak. The bed was extremely comfy and very hard to leave on sunday morning! The host was inconspicuously attentive and responsive. All in all, an excellent stay. Would definitely book again and recommend: worth paying a little more sometimes, in order to be able to relax and enjoy time away. I’d recommend a stay of several days, as you need that long to be able to find all the special treats and seek out the nooks and crannies. Great place.

Positive: Brilliant location in the cathedral precinct with parking right outside the door - perfect. A short stroll to the lively and interesting town centre. We met Clare the host and she was very helpful. She recommended the Angel Hotel to eat in, and a walk around the Abbey gardens, both nearby. Superb recommendations.

Negative: Nothing. However we had brought our cool bag with ice packs and because the fridge doesn't have a freezer compartment, we were unable to re-freeze the ice packs for the return journey home.
