Positive: This property blew us away. Leonardo, the owner, poured his heart and soul into the restoration of his family property. He managed to keep the history but modernise the property. The views were breath taking and the terrace offered a great spot for a wine before dinner. The pool was also fantastic with plenty of spots to lounge. There is no formal restaurant but if you’re lucky Leonardo will cook a beautiful dinner for you while you watch the sunset. Honestly the hospitality was incredible, we would love to visit again!

Positive: This property was outstanding. It has such an interesting and rich history; it is a beautiful, elegant, and superiorly designed/decorated structure. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room was spacious with excellent views of the Umbrian hills. I am not easily impressed, but I was by this property. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was not only delicious but served with the utmost class. It was truly a five star experience.

Negative: Everything was perfect - there is nothing negative to say.

Positive: We had a wonderful experience staying at Torre Palombara on our honeymoon, Leonardo and his staff were truly fabulous hosts. He gave us great tips on the area and the house itself is extremely beautiful and comfortable. Well worth the trip! The cats are also a lovely addition!

Positive: We loved everything! Our host Leonardo could not have been more attentive and caring, including making wonderful suggestions for places to visit and, very importantly, for dinner. Natalia who took care with breakfast preparations, was delightful. The property, a converted dovecote and farmhouse, has been in Leonardo’s family since the 15th century, and the interior design is thoughtful, comfortable and stylish. We had the rooms in the dovecote, on two levels, with magnificent views. They were spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. There were several relaxing reception rooms, equally tastefully furnished and comfortable. Breakfast was served on the terrace with wonderful views.

Positive: Torre Palombara is a beautiful house located in an idyllic setting with views across the valley towards Narni and San Gemini and the surrounding hills. The garden and pool are lovely, and we enjoyed a quiet relaxing day beside the pool. The breakfast is brought to you on the terrace and is delicious. Leonardo is a kind and thoughtful host. He was very helpful with suggestions about what to do and where to go and made a reservation for us for dinner at San Gemini which was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Positive: Thanks to Leonardo our great host for the amazing hospitality and making that place so special. If there would be a 12 points hospitality rating we would have herewith given 12 from 10 points! Thoughtful great recommendations by Leonardo to discover and enjoy Umbria, a lovely place embedded in nature, comfortable and atmosperic rooms, as the whole place. A great breakfast prepared by Nathalia to be enjoyed on the teracce did provide for a perfect start into every day.
