Summary: We were 19 people (4 families) staying for 4 nights, and The Retreat was a perfect fit. The location is excellent, just a 7-minute walk to the beach, or 2–3 minutes if you use the provided bikes or golf cart. The layout of the house is great, with plenty of space for everyone, and the outdoor area is well set up, especially the grill area where we spent a lot of time.The owner was super responsive and helped us with anything we needed throughout the stay.Only small downside was the hot tub jets—they weren’t very strong. But honestly, that didn’t take away from the experience.We’ll definitely be coming back.

Ages 2-93!The restreat was perfect- pool was big enough for the 9 kids to play and adults also!House was great-all rooms are big with comfy beds- 2 nice sized living areas! Kitchen is well stocked with cooking pans and dishes.Loved the golf cart- transported chairs and the to beach. Lots of rides with kiddos. Many memories were made!! Matthew was perfect host! Answered quickly and helped with a couple minor issues.

Summary: We booked this as a last minute trip for our family of 5. Thomas was the perfect host. Extremely responsive, full of information for us first visitors to Crystal Beach(Destin) and flexible on our late arrival time and late check out. We basically picked the place for the heated pool and golf cart that were included in the price, which were the family favorites by far, but were blown away with the house itself when we got there. It is new, clean, extremely spacious. Every room is a big great size with a full bathroom, tvs, etc. There was a perfect amount of blankets for night movie watching, towels for the beach and pool, chairs and toys for the beach/pool to keep everyone entertained for the week. It is beautifully decorated in a classy coastal decor that makes you feel relaxed as you head to your own paradise in the back yard oasis with plenty of seating with umbrellas for sun or shade, the large pool with spillover hot tub perfectly heated and clean, beautiful landscape and lighting, also on a timer so you can see it’s beauty. Having the golf cart in the driveway ready to go was such a highlight of the trip. It was an easy quick access to the beach with golf cart parking lot, drive to restaurants, shops, to take pictures at the beach. We will definitely be back with more people to fill the rooms next time.

Summary: This property is amazing! The pictures do not do it justice. It was comfortable, family friendly, and enough room for all 22 of us. The rooms were all very spacious and the beds and pillows extremely comfortable. Too many positives to mention!!! The host tried really hard to get us in early, but because of damages from the previous people, it was impossible. Not only that, the owner called me that first day to let me know the handy man would be by to fix things broken. He was a joy to talk to for sure!! The communication was easy and quick. The golf cart was a huge win. I was worried being not right on the beach, but we rented two extra golf carts (so we had three for all of us), and it was perfect. The pool and the spa made it fine being away from the beach. The beach wasn't even far away. It was an easy walk, bike ride, or golf cart trip. The bikes were another win!! We ABSOLUTELY loved this property. They have everything you might need. The only issue was the fridge. It took a while to catch up with all the food that we put in it that first night. To the owner, I might recommend a rug by the back door for when people come in from the pool to the restroom to avoid slipping. We just used one of our beach towels. Because of this place, I won't hesitate not being right on the beach again. This was the best of everything!!!! Highly recommend this property!

Summary: The house was clean and spacious. It was incredibly helpful to have a bathroom attached to each bedroom. The outdoor space was beautiful. Highly recommend this house for a large group.
