Summary: We stayed at La Bergerie for 10 days and we (my wife, our two daughters and myself) had a wonderful time. Malcolm and Angela are very kind, discreet and helpful. We truly loved the spacious garden. One can tell a lot of love and time was invested. The pool was really fantastic, especially because of the rapidly increasing temperatures during the last few days of our stay. We highly recommend this accommodation!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful setting. Malcolm and Angela were on hand if needed without ever being intrusive. The swimming pool was well looked after by Malcolm during our stay and cleaned regularly. We look forward to visiting again.

Summary: La Bergerie ( The Sheepfold ) a very well maintained property set in spaciest grounds . The swimming pool above expectation, and very well maintained. Plenty of open space surrounded the property. From the house there is plenty of off road walks . Plenty of beaches to choose from . Pezenas very interesting to visit day or evening, large choice of restaurants to choose from and of coarse the Saturday market . Must thank the owners , on hand if we required anything, direction, shopping etc. They were very unobtrusive. Thank you again . We will return, Bob and Andrea

Summary: La Bergerie has a beautiful pool and terraces surrounded by wonderful landscaped gardens. It is a very relaxing place to stay. We loved to enjoy leisurely meals and lively conversation on the terrace under the unusual and very practical little "pavilion". The owners, Angela and Malcolm, were very helpful and kind but in no way intrusive. The D13 road is busy and care must be taken turning in and out of the drive but the property is well screened from the road and any noise soon goes unnoticed. The road is in fact ideal for visiting Pezenas, an absolute gem of a little town, Roujon which has very easy access to a good supermarket, and it also connects to many routes from which to explore l'Herault.

Summary: This was our first time in this area and we were delighted with our choice of accommodation. Probably the best cottage we have stayed in. The owners who lived next door were there on hand to answer any questions and worked tirelessly to ensure the pool was kept in tip top condition. We enjoyed our holiday very much, the weather was perfect and I believe that this area is known for its lovely climate in summer.

Summary: We spent a lovely week at La Bergerie in August where our only disappointment was it wasn't two weeks. The owners were so attentive to our needs making sure we had everything we required, without ever imposing on our stay. The cottage is well appointed, all the rooms are adequately sized and everywhere was clean on arrival. We are a family of 5 and had plenty of space, although the cottage will comfortably house 6. Outside there is so much space, perfect if you have children who like to run around. The swimming pool is a lovely size and not too deep. We are keen runners and found several routes away from main roads which were perfect. They would be equally perfect if you just prefer a stroll. Or just sit around on one of the two terraces and enjoy the sun. There are supermarkets 5 minutes away in two directions so you have a lot of choice where to shop. Pezenas is equally close and is a lovely place to wander around with some great restaurants. Don't forget to visit the market on Saturday but be warned, it gets very busy. If you're looking to have a beach day, there are lots to choose from. We visited Vias Plage twice which is about 25 minutes drive. The beach and sea are perfect for children, even those who can't swim well. The sea is quite shallow and stays shallow for some distance. If there was one thing people should know, then it's that the property stands quite close to the D13. This is a main road and can get busy. It really didn't affect us. You can hear the traffic but the property sits down, away from the road. When you're in the pool or on the lower terrace you don't really notice it. We never noticed it inside the cottage. All in all, we would highly recommend La Bergerie and would have no hesitation in returning.

Summary: This is a well maintained property situated just a five minute drive outside the delightful town of Pezenas and close to beautiful coastal resorts such as Meze. La Bergerie is a comfortable villa set in spacious grounds with a variety of dining areas and a well maintained pool. We were blessed with very fine weather so we were able to make good use of the grounds and pool. The villa is well equipped and the spacious lounge provided some respite from days when there was intensive heat. The on-site owners provided a discreet but very good, friendly service and were quick to resolve minor issues. A range of good supermarkets are within very easy reach and you can be spoilt for choice dining out in Pezenas, Meze or Bouzigues. Still within fairly easy reach are the large but beautiful towns of Montpellier, Beziers and Narbonne.

Summary: We have stayed at dozens of gîtes over the years, and this is the best of them. The location, very close to Pezenas but right out in the countryside, is ideal. The facilities are excellent: great kitchen, great pool, comfortable living room, comfortable beds, etc. The views are good and the grounds ample. We can't come up with anything to complain about. Two comments to make. One: the house is fairly close to a road that carries a fair amount of traffic, and you hear the traffic noise. But it is passing traffic, which is greatly preferable to the stop-and-start noise we have had to endure at other places. Two: the gîte is on the same grounds as the Colliers' house, and they are very close by. This never presented a problem. The physical layout makes it easy to have privacy. They know how to make you feel that you're on your own - but they are also very friendly and enjoyable to talk to when you do have contact with them. And having them on-site means that questions can be answered and minor problems solved instantly. I don't know what else to add other than this: we have already booked in for summer 2015, and we are discussing plans for 2016 as well. A really great place.

Summary: Was even better than the photos!Very clean throughout.Pool 5*.Cottage well equipped,lots of books,games and DVD,s.Very spacious grounds.Location great for Pezenas shops (very little tourist tat!).Saturday market the best we've seen for a long time.Plenty of eateries (only one burger joint!). Three excellent supermarkets.Locals very welcoming.Hosts very helpful and knowledgeable.Became increasingly difficult to go out sight seeing, so relaxing in the gardens or great fun in the large pool,time passed slowly in the right way.Perhaps most importantly--Ned our dog loved it!
