Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Dan is an uber-attentive host. He even brought over a christmas tree with ornaments for us for the holidays! Great location, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom tub(!), outside patio with grills, parking… the list is long, but to sum it up, we would love to come back. This VRBO really exceeded our expectations. Summary: Enjoyed staying in Dan's funky home - it was great to be so close to the lagoon. Close to the beach and wonderful neighborhood to cruise around in. Dan is a lovely man as well, incredibly friendly and fun to talk to.

Summary: We were in the area for work and found this gem. We worried about privacy, but it turned out to be a non issue. Dan was awesome and took care of any needs we may have had. Stayed with our two dogs, great walking areas near by. Also has restaurants within walking distance. Our stay was over 4 months and we enjoyed it!

Summary: I recently enjoyed a month's stay at this spacious, historic property in a terrific location in Long Beach. I know the City well and that a property with proximity to walking trails, public beaches, and shopping that also includes secure parking is almost impossible to find, but here it is! Daniel is a terrific host who owns an extraordinary property with an interesting history. The apartment is spacious and perfectly outfitted for a short or long-term stay. The unit has a fully-functioning kitchen. Cookware, small appliances, a dishwasher, and private laundry were also very much appreciated, as was the gracious closet, which is often hard to find in a historic home. There is a private outdoor patio where I was able to get a much-needed haircut where one could also enjoy a coffee or a meal. My stay was in August, and while there is air-conditioning, I didn't need it with the excellent cross ventilation. Five stars. Thanks, Daniel!

Summary: Our family had a wonderful week-long stay over Christmas at Dan's rental. He was so kind to have even decorated the place for us with a Christmas tree, wreath, and garlands. Dan is super personable and was a pleasure to interact with during our visit. I reviewed a lot of places and this one was the best value of them all. The location is excellent too, being located in a nice neighborhood right across from the Colorado Lagoon where we could take enjoyable strolls and do some birdwatching.

Summary: Sea La Vie was amazing. Dan gave a history of his place as he showed me around...Quite fascinating. He has covered all the bases as far as supplies on hand: appliances, personal items, even some snacks as a welcome gift. The secured driveway gave me one less thing to concern myself with. And the huge dog park is so close, Buddy and I walked there every day. Looking forward to returning in the near future.

Summary: The apartment was clean & lovely and Dan is such a lovely and welcoming host. Everything we needed was close at hand and the apartment was decently stocked with linens, toiletries, fresh flowers and other goodies. Private parking on the property, we couldn’t have chosen better and the price was fantastic. Will happily book this property again if coming to Long Beach.
