Positive: Clean accommodation with friendly host and stable wifi connection located in a beautiful garden. The attic room is beautiful and very spacious with nice view and private cold shower. Hot shower is available on the ground floor.

Negative: The white curtains by the window should be replaced by dark curtains in order to block more light out.

Positive: We had a great time in Secret Spot, we were first surprised by a brand new ensuite bathroom which was not planned, and it made our stay even better. The bed was large and comfy, the kitchen had enough to do some simple cooking. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially during the typhoon period when we had no electricity and water; they explained everything to us and what to plan. The cat is so cute and lovely. The location is nice and quiet but you do need a scooter to go around, way more convenient. The price was much more affordable than other places in Siargao, hope it will last.

Negative: You can indeed hear the boxing gym next door, but it is not as bad as some other reviews said, part of the experience, I would say.

Positive: Absolutely everything! Aileen is the best!! She was so friendly, inviting and helpful. She really made my stay there feel like home - thank you!!! Adi has created an absolutely beautiful little oasis on Siargao. The accommodation are top notch with great attention to detail. I can’t wait to get back! I hope the “secret” isn’t out by then so it’s already booked when I wanna go. Thank you so much!!! DC

Positive: The space is as it is in the photos. The Tierra bedroom which we got had a private bathroom inside the room. The place is quite isolated and quiet, no problem reaching town with a motorbike. Shared kitchen was okay for cooking meals. Staff are very helpful.

Negative: The room we got had a private bathroom inside the room however there was no water heater, and no shower curtain making the bathroom wet after a shower. The other bathrooms outside for the lower-tiered rooms had water heater. We used one of the outside bathrooms instead but the water heater is not adjustable, so the hot water was quite hot! Island living will really have bugs, but there were lots of ants crawling in our bedroom, which would bother us while we slept.

Summary: Okay budget place, quiet area, better if you rent motorbikes.
