Positive: Fabulous room; I loved this place. Super spacious and modern. Close to the beach too! The staff were lovely, and the room service was as affordable as it was delicious! Would definitely stay there again personally!

Negative: As much as I loved this place… I think the location might be hard to get to if you don’t have a car… which I did, thankfully, but the car space was precariously small - so I was worried the hole time because the nose of my hire car was sticking out into the hotel’s road due to the small size of the car port in room # 1. Also (and I’m not sure if this is user error) but neither the sink nor the bathtub drained completely, so after the water sitting stagnant for a few days it had a slight smell.

Summary: Not perfect but a great deal, and well worth the money

Positive: Amazing experience! Very comfortable and quiet accommodation, we got the best sleep here in our entire 2 months in Japan! The staff are very friendly and helpful, the managers speak fluent English. Excellent dinner and breakfast delivered to your room! We had a comfortable Tatami dining area to eat at. There's also a fridge, kettle and microwave. Free washing machine/dryer on the premises. Free tea, coffee and a welcome drinks provided. There's also a nice private outside area to eat and drink. The location was great as we were surrounded by beautiful nature but a short drive from shops, restaurants and close to tourist spots like Unzen and Obama hot springs! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Negative: The first night it was a bit cold, so an extra blanket would be nice

Positive: The hotel grounds were all brand new including the cute cottages, patio and a water fountain. The cottages themselves were decorated nicely and the beds were comfy. We had very helpful, English speaking staff that picked us up from the station and drove us there after as well. We were also able to rent a car from them directly which was super helpful since the rentals on Kyushu were all but rented out. The location was also quite nice as it was between Nagasaki city and the Unezen-Amakusa national park so it was not far to reach either by car. All in all, I highly recommend this place and it's great value for money.
