Positive: Comfortable bed, nice little terrace with a view to the mountains, a big garden, and located on a quiet side street yet just two minutes walk to supermarkets and warungs and the entrance to Geopark Rinjani. Good breakfast with one of the best coffees I ever tasted. Very friendly family. Good Wi-Fi.

Negative: A fresh lick of paint, new towels and sheets and some updates could do wonders.

Summary: Wonderful, relaxing stay in a great location with the best coffee ever

Positive: Very helpful and generous family. They helped me in every way.I stayed for 2 weeks, believe it or not, it was just what I needed. The owner host is an experienced guide of many years guiding to zzMt Rinjani and nearby hills, and much more.From the cabins are delightful views of Mt Rinjani and the hills, All beautiful hikes of varying lengths some 4 hour hikes some more , Mt Rinjani of course 2 or 3 days. Lovely fruit trees and local organic coffee grown and produced from the garden. Very quiet and serene. Restaurants within 3 minutes walk from homestead. Choice of local food or more upmarket restaurants and coffee shops.

Negative: Nothing was perfect for my tastes.

Positive: Wonderful hosts who let us cook Gado Gado with them (including gathering some wild ingredients), treated us with kindness and respect, and taught us much about the region's history. Owner used to be a Rinjani guide for a long time. They are indigenous to the area and have great respect for the land. Plenty of hot water, clean, and safe. Excellent location to start any of the nearby hikes or mountain climbs. Best coffee I have had in all of Asia in 10 years of travel. They also provide a driving service and have a lot of knowledge about where to find things you need or how to get places.

Negative: Bring a power board, splitter, or converter with USB slots, as there is only one plug in the room. Some more hooks or shelves for storage would be great.

Summary: A must stay place.

Positive: Perfect quite place to stay expecialy if you are planning to climb Mt. RIJIANI :) BEAUTIFUL, even if simple omelet and fresh roosted coffee, the best coffee we had in Indonesia ;) The owner helps us to find a group and climb mt Rijiani. A guide is mandatory!

Positive: Great value for the price and clean. Hammock in the yard. Family vibe and green surroundings. Some folks complained about the noise, but you will hear the mosques if you stay anywhere in the area. There is none particularly close to the homestay.
