Positive: Large bungalow. Kitchen was large, lounge was large.

Negative: Not enough cutlery. Garden wasn’t enclosed so had to watch the dog. Properly was cold, no double glazing. I feel in the winter it would be very cold. There was no hot water had to use the Emerson heater which we needed to remember to do that. There was no wardrobe in the second bedroom so storage was a problem Main bedroom had a double bed which in this day and age is very small. Not easy to walk dog from the main door.

Summary: Ok property. With a little TLC could be great.

Positive: Good size and comfy for what we needed. Welcome pack of milk, biscuits, tea a nice touch. Location lovely, nice village and accommodation very quiet considering so close to A69.

Negative: Driveway entrance very tight. Outside of property very dark when coming back at night as porch light has to be turned on from inside property. Directions provided could be improved as we arrived from the opposite direction and at night so took us a while to find and driving up and down a couple of times.

Positive: We liked the location and the coal fire. Comfortable sofas and beds and a well equipped kitchen. We experienced a problem with the heating and the owners dealt with it swiftly and efficiently.

Negative: We didn’t like the separate toilet and bathroom. We didn’t like the narrow entrance, however there’s plenty of space for parking beyond that.

Summary: Traditional, homely bungalow in a lovely setting with great views.

Negative: - separate wc needs a wash hand basin - blinds in the bedroom let too much light in, would be better with dark curtains - having better basic provisions provided in the property like salt and pepper, cooking oil, there was no tea- towels only one dishwasher tablet etc
