Positive: Lovely little B&B perfect for an overnight stay right on the Portuguese border and close to the fort town of Almeida. The lady was so helpful and friendly. There's plenty of parking, the breakfasts (included in the price of the room) are amazing. Our room was clean, spacious, comfortable and dog friendly.

Positive: Great location! Located between Vilar Formoso, and Almeida Castle in Vale da Mula. Loved the spacious rooms, being surrounded by nature, and garden. Host was wonderful.

Negative: The restaurant was closed. It'll reopen June 1, 2024.

Positive: Very comfortable room. Large bathroom with good size walk in shower. 2 single beds in room. Pillows and bed comfortable. Very clean. Wifi good. Aircon good. Tv has plenty of channels. Parking onsite. Restaurant was closed the day I arrived but bar was open for beer and coffee. Almeida is only 6 min easy drive for restaurants.Host very nice and helpful. She has recently taken over management. Nice and quiet being in small village. Breakfast was good.

Positive: Lovely refurbished room and bathroom , nice decor and friendly manager who was keen to ensure we enjoyed outer stay - which we very much did . Sadly the restaurant was ( unusually) closed on the night of our visit , although we had been informed of this already so this was not a problem . Nice breakfast provided especially if considering the incredibly low price for the accommodation. Quite splendid we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again
