Positive: Fireplace was great, covers and horses to visit, 2 sleeping wings was good to separate the snorers, good location near enough to some shops, service was good from neighbours and property management. Good kitchen items besides the used flaking fry pans (see below). Great walk down to beach for play and outdoor area was a good space. Stunning views too! Thank you for having us

Negative: There were quite a few bugs around on the carpet, no dishwasher instructions and no labels, wasn’t much linen, would have been good to have an extra towel and face washer. Doors were quite noisy when opening so was hard to go to bed after someone else in the same room as opening doors would wake them up. Please replace fry pans, non stick coating is extremely toxic when flaking so we weren’t able to use any of them they are all very worn.

Summary: Lovely property, great location, amazing view, good facilities, comfy beds and couches. We will be back!

Positive: Beautiful setting . Rural farm environment with access to river ,rail trail short and drive to coastal towns. Great for large family groups and friends . Enjoyed the outdoor fire on clear Gippsland nights. Host was exceptional friendly and helpful.

Summary: Very restful winter break. Winter walks bike rides and warm fire .

Positive: We bought all our own food in for a week from Coles Bairnsdale. On-line order/delivery, 1/2hour prior to our arrival the owner graciously had packed it in the fridge for us. The Kitchen was clean and fully stocked with all the appliances - we cooked all week.

Negative: Could not fault anything - all six guests loved the place.

Summary: Exceeded our expectations and will be staying there again,

Positive: We had a wonderful weekend at Meningie Homestead. The house was spacious enough to host 11 people and had everything we needed and the view is amazing. The owner was really nice and let us have a late checkout. Would love to come back one day.
