Positive: Well appointed and extremely comfortable. Situated next to the IOW gin distillery and public house made it very convenient.

Positive: We had a fantastic stay, really enjoyed it. It was our first stay in a Shepherds Hut and we were not disappointed. Very cosy and had all we needed.

Positive: The location is good, it’s far enough from tourist spots to be quiet, but close enough to walk to Seaview or Ryde. Being next door to a pretty decent put is also really convenient, as is the bus stop literally outside. The hut itself has a reasonable view, the one behind probably less so. There’s everything that you need, you get used to folding the bed down every night, the ceiling lights are very pretty.

Negative: Cleaning, or lack thereof, the lady with long hair before definitely let me know she’d been there. The seats had hair and dirt on them, the bathroom hairs and dust, and the kitchen was not only dusty, but also a glass had the remnants of someone’s drink in. Would be handy if the at least provided a vacuum cleaner.

Summary: Nice hut, good location, shame about the cleanliness.

Positive: Facilities are outstanding with an amazing view and easy links to public transport. 10- 15 minutes walk to the beach. We had a very relaxing holiday and would 100% recommend this beautiful place to anyone.

Positive: Extremely clean. Lots of cooking facilities. Towels were great quality. Had lots of storage for such a cosy property. Lots of little touches like usb at plug sockets and fairy lights within ceiling.Very peaceful location, with amazing views. Location was great next to the Wishing Well bar which is also the distillery of mermaid gin and bus stop across the road if not driving. Very easy arrival and key collection.

Negative: Couldn’t find a dust pan and brush which would have been handy. Mattress wasn’t to our liking, felt a bit hard but realise this is personal preference. We also stayed whilst it was very hot so we had disturbed sleep, a fan would have been lovely.
