Positive: This isn't just a good hotel, it is a perfect one. Staying at Le Metropole is like stepping back in time. The service and staff went above and beyond to make sure our trip was breathtakingly romantic. We stayed here at the tail end of our Egyptian anniversary trip. When we arrived they had given the bed a carpeting of rose petals and even had a cake and some sparkling wine ready for us to celebrate our arrival. I honestly couldn't have asked for anything more and I would come back in a heartbeat. The facilities are clean and comfy. The food was fantastic. The aesthetic was amazing. The vintage gated lift was a time machine and the room itself was a moment of calm nested into the hectic streets of Alexandria.

Positive: Not much to say, other the location maybe.

Negative: Old property, rooms are very old, has a weird smell in the rooms, uncomfortable bed. Had to over 30mins to check out as there was only 1 person working. No other staff was around to jump in and help. Everything seems quite dirty in the hotel.

Summary: I would not be staying here again.
