Just a stone's throw from Place des Jacobins, rue de la République, which runs from Bellecour to Hôtel de Ville, a pedestrian street with shops, cinemas, restaurants... From the former Hôtel-Dieu, now the splendid Hôtel Intercontinental, to avenue Edouard-Herriot for luxury stores. The Presqu'île comprises the 1st and 2nd arrondissements, between the Rhône and Saône rivers. There are many monuments to visit: the Place des Célestins with its theater, the Saint-Nizier church, the Musée des Beaux-Arts, the Opéra... A real pleasure to stroll around this beautiful city of Lyon.

A very enjoyable stay in this fabulous city.. 🙁 Rubbish bins kept being moved which partially blocked the exit. Some floor boards need fixing."

Summary: Super convenient to restaurants/cafes. We didn’t realize how many stairs there were, spiral and three stories up. We were very confused about the check out process and contacted management with no response. I saw an email that was sent to me a few days later and now know what the check out process was, but at the time could not get in touch with anyone. Apt was quiet which was nice.
