Positive: The location is nice with stunning views, and the breakfast was quite good.

Negative: We recently stayed at this hotel, expecting an exclusive resort experience, but unfortunately, it fell short in several areas.   Firstly, the staff seemed unprepared and unable to deliver the level of service one would expect from a high-end resort. It felt like they were trying to project an image of exclusivity without the necessary preparation or training.  The restaurant was another letdown. The food was average at best, and considering the hotel's remote location, this was particularly disappointing. Additionally, the pick-up service from the city center stops right before dinner time, forcing guests to pay for a taxi afterwards – a frustrating inconvenience.  While they did clean our room, they left two empty, dirty cocktail glasses outside for 2 days without taking them away, which is not quite the level of service that you expect when you book a place like this.  Lastly, the transport service to the city center: instead of taking us directly to the center, we were dropped off on a random street, far from our intended destination.  On a positive note, the location of the hotel is quite beautiful, offering stunning views and a peaceful environment. It's a shame that the service didn't match the setting.  Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a truly exclusive and well-managed resort.

Positive: The most stunning setting in the Sacred Valley! One of the most beautiful views anywhere. Great restaurant. Breakfast included and had a huge menu of items cooked to order. Had a family tent with 2 bedrooms, a loft with 4 beds and 2 bathrooms. We really appreciated all of the space as a family of 5 who often has to book two hotel rooms.

Negative: It's over a mile to town and not walkable. The shuttle only runs until 6. However, the resort will assist in sending a taxi for pick up.

Summary: Comfortable stay with great food in a stunning location.

Positive: Stunning setting in well maintained, attractive gardens. A lot of money has clearly been spent on the high quality ‘lodges’ and dining room. A fun hour was spent in the hot tub/sauna alongside the fast flowing river. Free shuttle service to this out of town location, though we did enjoy a downhill, 30 minute stroll into the centre.

Negative: The menu didn’t have enough vegetarian choices and the dishes were quite pricey. We went at the end of the rainy season so the beautiful river was in full flow - unfortunately the noise did keep us awake at night. Other guests may find it soothing!

Positive: The location is amazing, right in the middle of the mountains next to a stream. The staff, facilities and breakfast/dinner are all A+. Free shuttle to town/train station.

Negative: Some of the power outlets did not work, likely because the tents are solar powered. It was not a big deal for us since a few in the rooms did work and we took turns charging our phones.

Summary: We had a great time and will be back.
