Positive: Wonderful buffet breakfast, beautiful setting, excellent spa.

Negative: Front desk staff rude, confused and unhelpful. I was charged a higher price upon check in, despite having paid in full when booking was made on Booking. Com. The young reception fellow was helpful in resolving this, but his older male colleague was not. We were also given incorrect information about hotel restaurant hours at check in, and had to practically beg to get food at 9:05 PM. Ridiculous! Also, we booked a “comfort double room” but were put in a basic room.

Positive: Very comfortable hotel with great facilities. Staff could not have been more helpful.

Negative: Kitchen was closed when I went to order a meal in the Bar @ 20:45. I’d been riding all day in heavy rain so I desperately needed a hot shower. Luckily the Bar Tender gave me a free bag of snacks as a token gestures, which was very kind. Many thanks.

Negative: Grass strumming early in the morning. Restaurant male staff scruffy appearance (unkept tie, shirt etc.)
