Positive: Room this trip was a little nicer than the last time, water pressure was good

Negative: The AC didn't really cool the room down even after I tried to adjust. Had to leave the windows open and there was a lot of street noise from the bar just down the street

Positive: We experienced one of the best Rooms that the Carey House had to offer. The bed was comfortable and the room was exactly what we expected. The Hotel location was right downtown, and was the perfect launching point for all out activities.

Positive: Great historic hotel where we stay when spending a weekend in Placerville. The staff is very nice and the hotel and elevator have charm! The location is perfect for us.

Positive: Everything for a building from 1800, they really maintained the look with a little modern touch inside like flat screen TV, etc. It was roomy, the bedroom separate, a kitchenette and bathtub actually holds water.

Negative: Nothing at all. For a person who is not into staying in downtown, closer accessible parking and modern amenities, I really liked it. It actually is perfect since I was actually back in time. I enjoyed it so much that I would like to return to it again.
