Positive: What a beautiful, quaint cottage. The courtyard/garden was amazing. Hosts were pleasant and helpful. Walking distance to just about everything! Fireplace was cozy on cool nights!

Negative: We loved everything. If I had to find something wrong, I'd warn those with mobility issues that the bathroom is upstairs using either a spiral staircase inside or going outside to use regular stairs. But we adapted quickly.

Negative: Outside stairs to get to upstairs. Inside spiral stairs to dangerous to get upstairs and could not get suitcase upstairs unless you use the outside stairs. Luckily there was no rain.

Positive: Piece of Charleston history. The bed was comfortable and had air conditioning considering the age of the building made for a comfortable sleep.

Negative: No water bottles, no iron monitoring board. Some surfaces looked dirty and the tv remote was sticky. The stairs were very tiny, difficult to bring luggage up and the railing was rope. It felt unsafe.

Summary: Overall we had a great time staying at this location to spend time with our friends.

Positive: Good location, it’s actually a private small home with a small kitchen, living room w fireplace and another fireplace in the bedroom. The Middleton were lovely accommodating people.
