Positive: This hotel is beautiful. Lovely room with great details from the housekeeping staff. Pools are lovely and all the staff are so friendly. The beach was full of seaweed due to the time of year we went but it didn’t really matter as we spent more time at the pool. We visited for a few days after travelling a little in Mexico so it was the perfect relaxing stay to finish the trip. I think it was good value for money and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Positive: The property and staff were wonderful. Ate at each of the restaurants and the buffet breakfast and lunch. Read reviews saying the food was sub par. Some of it was a little bland but overall very enjoyable.Our favorite was the last night we were there we went to Olios Mediterranean cuisine.. It was so pampering and food was delicious. Our waiter was excellent and so attentive. Each experience was elevated with the great service from the staff. Probably our least enjoyable restaurant was the Italian cuisine which was disappointing because it is my favorite. Entertainment we went to two shows that overall were fun and our room was spacious with a great shower and swim out pool. There was always some activities going on somewhere in the resort.

Negative: Main dislike was the awful stench from the seaweed that kept us from enjoying the beach. We knew that it would be a problem this time of year because our daughter had just returned from another resort in the area from her honeymoon. However, we did not know how rancid the smell would be. I would say that this was not the resorts fault, but we went on an excursion at another property where there were many dedicated staff responsible for raking and loading it into trucks off the beach, there was no smell there at all. I am sure guests there paid quite a bit more...get what you pay for. The upside to this not being prime season however was there was not a big crowd at anytime, easy to enjoy all the amenities. And although the smell was really bad it was bearable after being out for awhile lol. Only service disappointed with was the lady that booked our excursion did not give us right info. She said it would take half a day and only took 2 hours. We had to wait for a few hours to be picked up or told that we would have to pay for a taxi. These people should know details of what they are selling. She is not part of the hotel staff but was with company called Ameristar

Positive: the baked good were all amazing as well as the coffee shop being open till midnight. All the staff were so nice and kind. Our butler Charly was great and super responsive.

Positive: Loved the food, the variety of restaurants and the cleanliness. The gym was also amazing. Swim out pool was really cool. having Pickleball was fun.

Negative: The seaweed smelled so horrific and you couldn’t go out and enjoy the beach. It was so thick.

Summary: Great facilities swim up pool is really neat. Very clean.
