Summary: Amazing breakfast. Eggs, omelettes, waffles, sausage, bacon, and fresh fruit, variyof yogurts, oatmeal, etc. Wow! New building so everything is clean and impressive. Staff are friendly and our stay was great. We didn't have time to use the pool/hot tub area but we saw families with kids having a great time. We did use the laundry and although the dryer looked clean, it left an oily residue on my clothing. No way the hotel could have known, just frustrating for me. We were also frustrated by the hold on our credit card for $100. It just adds extra work for me to keep track and make sure the money is refunded. It's happened at other hotels too, so maybe starting to be a standard practice.

Summary: We were in the area for a family wedding. We stopped to see if we could check-in early so we could change. They were gracious and allowed us too.

Summary: Property was clean and well maintained however they have maid service only every other day. Would have been nice to have towel bars in the bathroom to hang towels on to dry.

Summary: I arrived for check-in at 5:30 pm. At check-in, I was informed that in spite of my confirmation email, which clearly stated I had reserved a room with a King sized bed, that i would be receiving a room with 2 Queen beds instead. When I inquired about why, after verifying my reservation confirmation as asked, I was told that they must have over booked and they had no King Rooms available. How is this MY problem?? I reserved the room, I had the confirmation email for said reservation and still I got nowhere. The snooty female clerk said it simply wasn't her fault and there was NOTHING (<-- said in all caps) that she could do about it, and simply moved on the next person in line. Not only was I not given any compensation for my trouble, I never ever even received so much as an "I'm sorry that this has happened...." That's what is most disappointing of all. I will not stay at a Fairfield ever again if I have anything to say about it, certainly NOT at the Fairfield in Aberdeen, SD!!

Summary: We celebrated a 5 yr olds birthday. The little kids enjoyed the pool. The pool is smaller than most pools so it can get crowded. The hot tub was very warm! We had cake and pizza in the breakfast area. This was also our Easter gathering. We always choose the Fairfield because it is up to date and clean.
