Positive: I liked the privacy, and the history of the cottage. I found the host to be very helpful and communicative.
Negative: There wasn't anything major to dislike. There were one or two things that perhaps could be different next time, for example, the conservatory light didn't seem to work, and there were a few noticeable cobwebs on our bedroom ceiling. Again, these were not a big deal for us and wouldn't stop us staying again.
Summary: Tidy, well-priced, good host, overall positive.

Positive: The location was good and the property was modern and nice and quiet.
Negative: The property was very untidy outside the front door. Lots of weeds. It Needs a thorough tidying up. The inside of the property looked like it needed a hoover running round. The carpets weren’t very clean particularly in the smaller bedroom. There were missing lampshades on some of the lights. the hot water did not work in the kitchen sink or the bathroom sink. This was reported on day one of our stay and nothing was done about it despite us being there for three nights. The tv did not work as the batteries in the controller were flat. The property has the potential to be really lovely but it doesn’t look like anyone is keeping on top of it. It’s a shame because there are lots of positives about the cottage which are being spoiled by the basics not being done properly.
Summary: A nice cottage but lots of small things need to be done better including fixing the hot water.

Positive: The property is very spacious and the host has thought of everything, from books, jigsaws and blankets on the sofa. The bed was very comfortable and it felt very homely. We will be back again
Negative: Not much in the area however that didn’t bother us as it was very local to the wedding we were attending
Summary: Like a home from home and will definitely be back

Positive: Spacious, clean, peaceful, good location for a number of places, everything you need for a nice break away!
Negative: Everything was brilliant… if you were being really fussy, the rooms got a little bit warm in the evening as the heating system is always on, but that’s being really picky.
Summary: Lovely stay in a lovely cottage
