Positive: The overall experience was great. If you're looking for somewhere that's not necessarily in the city centre, this is an excellent option and is well connected. Leith also has lots of different things to offer and I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the neighbourhood. The service is excellent: James and Dora make it a very welcoming place to stay and enjoy Edinburgh.

Positive: We had a lovely stay at Crioch Guest House. Very clean, nicely decorated room with big bed, good hot shower. Lovely garden. Exceptional breakfast for a good day start. The bus stop right next to your door is very convenient also. The owner James was very friendly and helpful. Best regards!

Positive: Comfy bed, clean room with everything I needed, daily shortbread was a lovely touch. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. Owners very friendly and engaging, took time to talk to you and encouraged guests to interact. Great spot close to town with excellent transport links and across from a beautiful park (Links)

Negative: Small single room at the front of property, I like window open so traffic noise and someone cleaning bins with power washer woke me up, I didnt complain or ask to move, but just to be aware to request if your like me as Im sure they will accommodate if they can, as apparently rooms at the back are very quiet. Taking shoes off every time we entered was a bit trying but understandable. Parking on the busy road was interesting but not something they can change
