Summary: The whole experience at the cabin was picture perfect! It had everything to make our stay very comfortable and relaxing. The wrap around porch is where we spent a lot of our time taking in the beautiful scenery and relaxing with friends and family. We saw tons of humming birds, turtles, frogs and other wildlife! The cabin was pristine. It was definitely big enough for our large group. It was only about 30 mins to Lake Lure/Chimney Rock. We would absolutely come back again!!

During our stay we went hiking, toured the Biltmore, and took the Gorge Zip Line tour. In the evenings, we cooked smores in the fire pit as we sat around the campfire. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Summary: We absolutely adored Deer Haven! The environment was superb! We loved watching the horses on the hill in their pasture, listening to the chirping of the frogs and a deer or bunny always crossed our path! Deer Haven is a wonderful place to unwind and relax after a hot horse show day!

Summary: We had 6 college friends that had not been all together in over 35 years! The house was large enough to sleep all of us comfortably. The only challenge was not having a dining space for the six of us. We enjoyed the fire pit our first night before the rain set in. We experienced a lot of rain and a short 6 hour power outage so the front porch was thoroughly enjoyed. Our only suggestions would be candles or lanterns, just in case, and wine glasses!
