Positive: The location was ideal especially for a family having the swimming pools and the beach just a few minutes walk away. Supermarkets and restaurants were also in walking distance with no steep roads to deal with.

Negative: Unfortunately the property did not live up to its location. Things I think let it down and could easily be remedied were. Dbl bedroom only 1 bedside light. Twin bedroom only 1 bedside table and no bedside light. The bathroom was old and tired. no ventilation fan and the one window the insect screen was torn. The kitchen extractor fan did not work. There was no Fire blanket or fire extinguisher. There was no heat detector in the kitchen and no smoke alarms in the property. To reach the front door or balcony doors at the front of the property from the bedrooms at the back of the property you have to go past the kitchen. Kitchen utensils no decent corkscrew, there is now, only 1 teaspoon, there are 4 new ones now, It would be nice if there were some deeper bowls for cereal. Fridge even when set to almost off still froze everything. Just needs a little TLC and address the safety issues and could be a lovely holiday property .

Positive: The host Natalia was brilliant, we loved so much about the place it was very secure and the two pools were just perfect, the WiFi was great the showers were nice and hot we had everything we needed

Negative: The only thing I would say would be the place could do with some air conditioning and some sun loungers for the pool but don’t let this put you off it’s easy to just use a towel to sunbath and the fans in the rooms kept us cool at night

Summary: Great from start to finish, I highly recommend this place

Positive: Good location and the flat was spacious and comfortable. It has a nice garden with pool and a balcony to eat out. The kitchen was well equiped and comfortable to use. The person in charge of the property was very friendly and helpful so checking in and out was easy and smooth

Negative: Bathroom is a little old and it doesn’t have air conditioning

Positive: The location was good - 15 minutes walk to the centre of La Cala. The pool was clean. the area was peaceful. It was a very pleasant apartment.

Negative: We would have liked more than one key to the property and the pool. The property and the pool were kept locked which was good but when there is more than one person staying in the apartment, at least 2 keys are needed. Also a couple of sunbeds would have been useful.

Negative: Very run down and in need of updating. No door shelves in fridge- no kitchen scissors - no bedside reading lamp no sink plugs Rusted bin and toilet holder in bathroom and blackened grouting in shower cockroaches in wardrobes and kitchen and generally smelling damp. Accros holding up ceiling next door.
