Positive: Wonderful little boutique hotel. From the airport pickup to the check out all was impeccable. The staff is lovely and super helpful. Location is good for experiencing the hutong but a bit tricky to get to public transport to the big sites but all manageable.

Negative: The wifi wasn't great but I didn't really need it

Positive: We can highly recommend this hotel based on our family stay from 3-11 October 2025. The staffs attitude and the service was fantastic and everything at the hotel was very clean. Being formerly living in Beijing and coming back for a visit, this hotels location is exceptional, located in the middle of the Hutongs in Beijing within walking distance for many of the attractions and with access to the subway network in Beijing. Having the morning coffee at the small tables outside the hotel gives an insight in the daily life of the Beijingers. Breakfast, coffee, Tea and laundry was all included in the price. Thank you to the staff at the hotel for your positive and friendly attitude and service.

Positive: The location is amazing, we loved the little laneway the hotel was in. The staff were super helpful. But you stay for the place itself- superb rooms, great main hall and the restoration of everything is immaculate. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Positive: From the complimentary airport pickup until the end of our stay, everything was smooth, and we were very well taken care of by staff. The hotel is located in the middle of an local Hutong area, a very short walk from Dashilang Street (5min) and Qian Men Da Jie (10min). Absolutely beautiful and cosy interior of the hotel, which made us feel like stepping into the past of Chinese tradition. The rooms themselves were very comfortable, clean and quiet with high-quality furnitures, comfy beds and powerful air conditioning (which was much appreciated in the middle of summer). For breakfast, we were asked to select from a list of dishes the day before (and the time we wanted to have them), and then in the morning, the reception gave us a ring on the antique phone in the room when the breakfast was ready. The filled meat dumplings and (boiled) wontons are must haves! We thank the hotel for the amazing experience and we will always recommend it further to everyone!

Positive: The hotel was in an interesting part of the city with a very local vibe. Street is very small so getting a car down is nearly impossible. The service and helpfulness of the staff was great.

Negative: I thought it was expensive for what it was as the room was very small.

Positive: A beautiful hotel in the style of 200 years ago whose discovered subsequent details of the decor arouse admiration. Despite the historic decor, you will be greeted by a super modern heated board in the toilet. Staff always ready to help.
